8. Road Report:

• Discussion pertaining to the removal of trees at the Eugene Street Playground

• Discussion on the purchase of materials and tools for Storm Sewers

o Hoist - $820 expenditure payable each from the sanitary sewer & storm fund monies

o Storm sewer pipe- approx. $4500.00 cost increase from last year $400.00

o Catch basins and grates – approx. $1600

o Grates - $2000

o Geo Textile Material- $1300

• Discussion to amend Ordinance 645 Openings & Excavations §129-25(G) Permanent restoration

o Where a road cut or opening occurs in a sing lane of travel of a Township roadway, the permanent restoration of the road cut or opening shall include the milling and overlay (wearing course) from curb to middle of the roadway.

 Amend this section to state “from curb to curb of the roadway”

 Additionally include language that requires full permanent curb to curb restoration if said road was paved in the past 5 years.
